What is this on my brake line!??

    so these brake lines came with the car when i bought my question is what is this spring and bracket on the brake line for?

    My guess it is a strain relief to protect the end of the hose from being damaged by movement.

    thats what i was thinking.. are they special order or something? because i cant find them online anywhere

    Same hose I have on my 79. Like said, it's to protect from flex damage.

    I like it. About any time you see a bad brake hose it's cracked and failing right at the fitting, good idea to limit the movement at that point.

    Jegs or Summit, don't remember. I just did a quick check, didn't see them at Summit online, maybe discontinued.

    I went online to Earl's. It is on page 15 in their catalog. The print was so small I could not read it. They are in the U.K.
