    Trying to buy a hood, the guy wants 350$? That a fair price, no rust, besides whoever cut the middle out for a cowl.

    I wouldn't it's all hacked up and for a couple hundy more you can get a new glass hood or find a better hood local.

    $350? That's outrageous. You weren't seriously considering that hood were you?

    I didnt know he had cut it out, i got turned away after that, And thought i post it just to be sure and your guys thoughts.

    I wanted a hood with a slight raise in it. Thats not cut up, its going on the Gem, thats named Selene

    Pass I even see stock hoods for free or up $100 in good condition.
    BTW I got the AMD 2in cowl listed above and it fit pretty good and seemed to be made well. That was about 7 yrs ago.
    I just got my son an AMD 2in cowl for his 92 and it fit well and was nice and solid.

    I have a rust free hood from a '74 that the bondo is cracked on it. You can have that for free. Only problem is, I'm in western Canada. :D (although I have grandchildren in Waukesha)
