$1500 no matching numbers hunk o junk as found
paid $1800 for mine summer of this year, sold my 97 eclipse i had, decided it was time to grow up and out of the import/tuner phase and get the car i have always wanted. 80 z28 68k miles, all original except for the carpet, new floor and trunk pans, previous owner wire wheeled the underside and painted it for me lol. it ran fine until i got it, now it sits waiting for the new motor to be rebuilt.

I paid $900 for mine in 1991. It was rough but restorable (obviously!), complete, it ran and drove, was all original including the drivetrain, not that I cared about that at the time, but it wasn't long before I was glad it still had matching numbers. A few years later once I found out what a build sheet was, why it was valuable, and where I might find it, I went out and looked and there it was behind the back seat.
20 years and who knows how many thousands of dollars later I have this...
