What did you pay?

    i found mine one day back in 1998 on the way home from work, the guy wanted a $1000 dollars for it after talking with him for a while i drove off with it for $300 dollars left my car i was driving at his house didnt want him to change his mind. dont have pics of when i bought it though, pretty solid car, drove it for about a year, then started the dreadful engine swap, from a 307 three speed to then a 350 at, then a 400 sbc now going to a 454 4spd. still looking for the t56 (anyone)

    I payed $750 for mine with a cracked block in 89

    I paid the equivalent of $3250 for my rusty '80, not even a Z. And thats pretty chep for over here in the UK.

    Quite jealous of what you guys can pick them up for in the USA

    Buying a camaro over here is like buying a classic mini over there and vise versa.

    This post make me cry! LOL! I've paid mine almost 15.000$ in June 2010 ...but I live in Italy and here if you want live the American Dream you have to pay it! .. I paid happily! ;)

    Paid $2000 for our 78 this summer. No rust, Needs interior. Ran when we got it but could not drive due to leaking trans seal and needed new exhaust. Trans fixed, new exhaust on, now doing interior. New wheels also setting in shop.

    I paid $3200 for my 80Z with a 350 and 4 speed back in January,and since then i've probably put close to another $1800 into it,then gonna dump alot more into it over this winter haha.This is a picture from the day i brought it home.

    I ordered my 79 z new 5700 with tax ect $6300 out the door. Placed order day after christmas of 78 and it came in in April, good Friday 1979 .Had it ever since. You don,t even know how much i spent on that car Differant trans about 4 of them 5 differant engine combos, differant rear end , paint the list could go on. about 50 g in all it years or more

    $3300 in Tacoma WA in 1995.

    Wish I'd have bought the blown Cuda instead for $6500 tho....
