WD-40 engine fogging

    I do fog my cars with WD-40 if I know they are going to sit for a while, especially outside storage. I don't have much chrome though.

    In the long run, it is messy, because it catches all the dust and dirt during storage, but I enjoy detailing when I pull it out of storage. Works great to keep corrosion on wiring and in hard to wax areas of frame, engine, etc..

    The benefit to me , it seems to deter mice and bugs. I don't think they like the smell or feel. I'd have to cars next to each other, one fogged, the other not, and non-fogged seems to attract the rodents.

    The bad, if you have cheap paint on the engine, it will lift it.

    becareful besides spraying all my guns ,i use it to take stickers off and my buddy use it to take tar off the side of his car..
