i got the NXT also and use it i like it
X2 on the quick detailer...love that product!
Detailing threads like this make me cringe. Example is that most peoples experience including mine is that NXT only lasts up to 1 month if you are lucky. A much better alternative that goes on and comes off easier, looks better and lasts MUCH longer is Blackfire wet diamond, Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0 and Menzerna powerlock. These 3 sealants put anything you can buy over the counter to shame. Been there and done that with the junk you can buy in stores. Started searching online and came across autopia detailing forums and that is where I learned the error of my ways and switched to much better products.
For example if you are a purist and want a real nuba wax then go to your local harley dealer and pick up a tub of S100 wax. It is a wipe on wipe off no dry time and super easy to use. Same exact product as the more than twice the price P21S wax. Leaves that deep wet nuba shine but as with any nuba if you leave your car outside any real nuba wax will only last 2 to 4 weeks before it needs to be reapplied. On the flip side it is so easy to use you can wax your car in 15 minutes.
^ Wow... I've never heard of this stuff.
The Wet Diamond product looks more reasonably priced.
Wolfgang sealant 3.0
A gallon of their sealant is the same price as 8oz of the estate wax.
(16 oz if you include the "Free" refill.)
Wolfgang Fusion Estate Wax.
The starter kit is an investment itself. ---> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wolf...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
16oz goes a long way. This type of sealant is supposed to spread on very thin. Many people make the mistake of spreading it thick.
Blackfire wet diamond 16oz and 32oz
$40 for 16oz wolfgang
$30 for 16oz menzerna powerlock (I have this and woflgang in my arsenal and they are almost identical)
Now for the utmost in paint protection
Optimum opti coat PERMANENT paint protection. Not for the faint of heart. MUST follow directions and have a perfectly prepped paint surface before application.
Well,waxed both '70 cars on Tuesday...that makes 5 cars washed/waxed since Saturday.
I like my stuff clean...
John next time you get the urge to fire up the 69 take a video and post it up. The magazine spread on that car was great. From that time on every story on 69 Camaros gets compared to yours. 2 Thumbs up.
edit btw: The Quik Detailer works great on my Harley.
Got a great clip of it on the dyno making 431 rwhp...need to find it and figure out how to post.
