I have water leaking in from somewhere under the hood. I can see it running above the heater box with the dash out inside and then onto the floor. Anybody else have this problem or have any idea as to where it could be coming from?

one place to look is the seam sealer along the cowl. or a leaking windshield.

It seems like it's coming in through the cowl in the hood dropping down into the firewall and continuing from there

I had leaks where the lower/inner cowl panel joins to the kick panel.

I'm thinking it may be the body sealer on one of the joints

I was just reading about this elsewhere. If the heater box under dash and if you have a/c the evaporator box are not properly sealed with rtv or some other sealant you can get water leaking through the heater box onto your floor

    mi.
Do not overlook the inner cowl itself. My 71 was rusted through on the left side of steering column. This caused my drivers side floor board to rust out. I didn't see it till I removed my dash and steering column.
