Does anyone know if this was stock with the car? From what I've been finding it seems as though the last owner had her set up with performance parts.

Can you post a photo of the line goinfrom it into the fire wall. It's a vacuum ball to change the modes on the a/c

Sure, I hope these help. There is one tube that goes directly from the ball to the air filter though so that confused me as well. Could be just because I'm still learning though. Thank you for your help!

The large line should go to a vacuum source on the carburetor or intake manifold, not the air filter. Small line should go through the firewall to the hvac contoll head.

It was stock with air conditioned cars.

So the small line doesn't attach to a nipple it just gets pushed into the firewall in that location?
