    Nice looking car.
I suppose if you were to break it down based on options it could make it rare but it's only an assumption as there's no way to prove it. You could do the same thing for any Z28... To me, the rare 1970 Z28's are the COPO's or the special order black paint cars.

I am saying its rare because it still has the options the car was born with for example m-22 4.10 12bolt deluxe interior rally sport option rear shoulder belts vf3 deluxe bumpers soft ray glass all around rear defog amfm stereo and also has dealer installed am-fm 8trk comfortweave seats 75-75 paint code orig lt-I pop and all the Canadian documentation I know all the owners of this car since mar7 1970 including myself the car was $6200 new also this a console delete car and still retains all orig sheetmetal only one repaint 31000 orig miles the new owner in new York got a deal at55k try and find another one in this pristine shape with these options the car would of probably fetched85-95k at barret Jackson plus its been certified by jerry mcneish also that's all im saying

The rear shoulder belts are a rare option, but I wouldn't say that by itself increases the value of the car significantly.
This is a obviously a well optioned RPO optioned car but I agree with 70SS/L78 that the COPO optioned and the stripe delete optioned cars seem to really increase the value. The black paint cars also seem to bring more at sales. One of those just sold for 100k at auction.
And just so we don't add confusion, technically there isn't such a thing as "console delete". Consoles were an option on any car, so to have console delete means you just didn't order that option. Kind of like calling a base car "Z28 delete" or "SS" delete. The rare ones here would be an automatic Z where they didn't order a console. Then you got a shifter on the steering column!

And there was no am/fm stereo offered from the factory . There is rare and there is unusual.. a Ferrari they only built 10 or is rare . A Camaro that over 100,000 were built with options is unusual.

The obvious ultra rare item is the embossed '70 Chevrolet Z28 Promotional plate shown on the front of the car in the hood off photo. That is ultra rare.

This is a cool car and has some neat options. Not trying to call you out here, are you 100% sure of this mileage claim....maybe you don't know what I know about this car. This claim aside I really like this car, very cool and $55K is good money.

    Nice vintage pics

Holy crap, how about some periods.
Mine must be rare too cause it still has all the original equipment on it since day 1 and Canadian Doc to boot. So you and I have the rarest Z's in the World.
