Turbocharged 70 RS project

    Finally got the manifold machined for the fuel regulator mount and it fit perfect. This thing is huge :eek: . Will have it back on the engine so I can start doin up the lines and mount the turbo next week :D .

    man, guys like you make me wish i had deployment money already so i could start my twin turbo LS7 project. i just hope i can find a 70-73 when i get back in a year.

    Just get back safely and thanks for your services.

    Their will be plenty of 70-73's for you and probably enough wrecked LS cars that you can pick up engine/trans combos dirt cheap :D

    Finally got some tools (quality hose cutter & aluminum vise jaws) to start assembling the fuel lines from the regulator to the rails. First the front half.

    Rear half is gonna have to wait till I mount the Y-block, still trying to figure out a clean set up in my head. Mounting the turbo got pushed up a few more weeks, original mount idea did not work :mad: so got some new ideas in the works

    No progress in the engine compartment but picked these up today and slapped them in.

    Looks like a Tial V60. Are you looking for 1500hp? With Protouring handling? I'll be keeping an eye on this build to see how it turns out. Which gear box are you using?

    Yah looking for 1000rwhp pump fuel, pro touring not really/maybe ;) and I am running a turbo400.

    Just went back through all the pictures, and YES that turbo is huge.

    Just looked through this entire thread. This is AWESOME!! This gives me motivation to want to go turbo on my BBC. I need to learn to weld and fab.
