    Aluminized.

20 years later the aluminized exhaust on my truck is holding up fine. Dont really drive the car in the rain and it will never see snow ever.

    Thanks for the props!

The sound is a bit deceiving, as I had the carb set up a bit too lean at that point. So, a good bit of that "chop" comes from that- the cam is only 208deg on the intake side- it idles much smoother now.

    I need to update those.

My motor (350 4 bbl.) was stock last year and it still sounded really good. This year I'm building a mild 385 stroker. I'm going to run a Lunati Voodoo 262/268 hydraulic flat tappet cam. It's 219/227 dur. @ .050", .468"/.489" lift 112 LSA. I should have a little lump to it, probably not to much though....we'll see!

    Old Thread Same Subject

I am wanting to install the $260 Dynomax/Thrush 89021 under my
    73 R/S LT project
Rebuilt Stock engine with very mild stockish cam upgrade
Q-Jet carb on stock GM manifold
Dont know IF I should spend $$$ on HEDMAN Headers (MORE $$ than the exhaust system)

Still curious if or how to modify stock "J Hook" hangars to support 2.5" muffler
Wanting to weld stock tailpipe hangar "strap" to Dynamax tailpipe ...Is it bent same as
    stock tailpipe
