Hello all Cam lovers, usually wouldn't have this question about tires and sizes, love big rubber on my 15's but I'm being gifted some 17 inch wheels at 205/40 zr/17 84w and don't even know where to start. Been using used tires just until I get her road worth it but free can't be beat. If they fit that is, Ang suggestions?

If anything, they sound too small. They will be quite low profile, especially compared to 15's.

a 205/40/17 is way too short. That's only 23.5" tall. It's also narrow.

I don't know what that wheel came off of but I bet it won't fit your Camaro anyway because it's probly off a small car with an entirely different bolt pattern.

Have you verified the wheel even fits your car? and how wide is that wheel?

Those tires are suited for tiny ecomomy cars in the 2500 pound range. They would be a bad choice for a bigger car like a Camaro. You could expect poor cornering and traction with a tire that narrow.
If you have a Ford Fiesta or a lawn tractor, put them on there.

I'd find out what they fit and sell them to someone. Then take that money and buy a set of tires that work on your car.
