Can anyone tell if it’s possible to test a rear defroster switch that is NOT in the car?
If it is possible, can you explain it as though it’s being explained to a child? Lol. Seriously. Electrical systems intimidate me and its completely foreign to me.
Brw, the switch is for/from an 81 Z28.

Just use a multimeter and a wire diagram of that circuit to test for continuity between the correct pins.

Ok, i have a multimeter and a colored wiring diagram that shows every other switch except the rear defroster. Either that or i’m going blind, which is entirely possible at my age
None of my friends are gear heads nor do they know anything about automotive electrical systems, so I’m kinda on my own.
