    IMG_8547.JPG IMG_8548.JPG Anyone with a T Top car you know there's no
Place to put them. In the trunk they get beat up, lean them it on something in the garage they can fall. With the rack you can leave the lock in the open position.
If you use furniture grade pvc they look better. Ya, who makes furniture with pvc. I don't know. But the fittings are the $hit. For around $50 you get this. I got some felt padding and it doesn't scratch up your Top at all. My car has the Gold tops on. Very pricy to replace if you can find them, And the inside trim ain't cheap either. I have 2 extra sets, but now they are pricy. Pop the top to go for a spin, no
    Prob.

If anyone wants a cut list to make one, pm me. You can order the fittings on line, the pipe I had laying around. I used 360 sandpaper to sand off all the writing on the pipe.

Nice design. The 4th gens put the tops in the trunk the same way. Too back nobody has designed a horizontal rack for the 2nd gen trunks. (Add link here if I'm mistaken)

Anyone know how the tops are "supposed" to fit in the trunk (81 Z28)? Pics would be helpful. I currently have large pieces of foam that I put in between each one.

I use the t-top bags that came with the car. Guess I was lucky that they were in my 78 when I bought it plus they were in great shape to. Put them in the bags then into the trunk they go.

Thanks Larry. Would you recommend buying a set of aftermarket bags?
