Putting in a T-56 Magnum transmission. What rubber boot did builders here use on their ride? Also what leather shifter cover is best? Also, do I just need the T-56 metal bracket sold out there or is a complete tunnel need to be raised? Using the 350 SBC. Thank you.

I put a factory T-56 behind my SBC 350. I only had to cut the hole in my tunnel because the car was an automatic. Some people cut a larger hole or "raise" the tunnel to get the correct driveline angle. My driveline angle is about 3 degrees down so I didn't do that. I used the factory rubber boot from a 4th gen. You can get it from Hawk's Motorsports. For the boot I used a microsuede one from "sickspeed". If I recall correctly they had leather ones too.
