Not too sure what to ask for it. Just posted it on Craigslist for 700

That would seem like a fair price, what kind of HP do you think it will take?

I’ve read them taking a lot of power. A friend of mine has a big block making pretty decent power and he has a t-10 behind it and it’s doing just fine

Seems to me that when I was researching for my 81 I read that the super t10 was good for about 400hp or it might have been 400 lbft torque, don't recall which. Aftermarket t10s might go a lot higher but the OE borg warners had modest limitations as I recall. Maybe look into it; I'd hate to see someone get a great deal and then grenade it.

It’s a T-10, not a T56 Magnum. If you buy this thinking it will take big horsepower, you use it at your own risk. I would only commit to say the transmission will handle moderate horsepower (350hp). Manual Transmissions are typically not rated at MAX power but rather continuous power. You’re typically safe at the rated power levels even though they can live with higher HP levels. It’s just at those higher levels it can fail.

Ebay has rebuilt units going for 2800. That is with Richmond gears.
