stripped thread - front sway bar bushing

    I can't weld.

    You talking about the self tap bolt that holds the bushing cup? I stripped one of mine, just stuck the next size up in it. Wont use that DeWalt 20v driver any more. :mad:

    Yep, the thread hole for the bushing cup. The bolt is 5/16" so will try an 8mm, which is 0.0625" larger. Haven't found a bolt between 5/16" and 3/8"

    Likely what I used, I just grabbed something from my "collection". :)

    Re-drill it and tap it for a 3/8.

    Guess it's not thick enough to helicoil.
