I’ve never heard of the dryer sheet trick but I’ve always used Irish Springs original scented soap and mice stay away I have a bar in my truck and ones going in the car. I agree with COPO and the rest Stabil makes it hard to start.

My driveway is 700 feet long. so a few trips up and back and put it back in the garage. my garage never gets below 45 degrees. My mancave is 30 by 52 and is heated all winter. So a couple of times in the winter I tinker with the car. If I dont start it, the transmission develops a leak and makes a mess.

There's really no need for stabil, run the gas out in the spring before a fill up, that's all. The gas will be 4-5 months old, just run it all out.
If you rebuild your cab, life in Ohio has parts now that are for al oh ok, they are blue not black. ( cliff ruggles)
If you never used cliff for carb parts, he's good. He has everything rite down to full color re plate resto, flow bench, so on. He's the carb guy.
