Starter heat shield or heat wrap?

    I always wondered why my Bronco had insulation there.... Never really thought about that...

    Will the heat, though, from running it for 100 miles or so, prevent it from starting the next day, after everything has cooled? (Click, click, no spin, lights on, etc.) Assuming connections, grounds, battery, solenoid, etc, are fine?

    Sorry if the question sounds ignorant....

    No. once they cool down it's all systems go. Unless there are other electrical issues. If your system, battery, starter, connections, wires....are all in good shape you're fine.
