Was that the length of an original cable or a replacement that you installed. Eckler's has a 62 inch cable with firewall grommet installed. Was trying to figure out if it would work? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a 72 Camaro that is an original 350 4 speed car with a Saginaw. I getting ready to install a TKO-600 kit from American Powertrain this week. Same problem as above I need a speedometer cable but my car doesn't have one either. The kit comes with an adapter/extender to make the stock cable work. What is the correct length I need? I've seen upper cables referenced in catalogs was it a 2 piece cable? Has anyone else done the same swap (Saginaw to TKO-600) what cable length worked? Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank
    Jon
