Hello guys, I need some help for a friend.

A friend of mine (here in Italy) just broke the speedometer cable of his '81 and he can't find a correct replacement.
The car is a '81 Z28 with automatic trans and cruise control (I don't know, maybe it's different).
He asked me to help, we looked in many parts webstore (rockauto, summit racing, camaro central, ebay motors) but we can't find the correct one.

Maybe we are searching with wrong words... I don't know.
    Please, help!

Lenght of the old cable (the broken one) is about 60".

Look at the Pioneer CA3005 cable. It's 61" long and fits his car. If he wants to eliminate the cruise control, the CA3001 will work.

A cruise control equipped car has two cables.
One from the transmission to the transducer and another from the transducer to the speedometer.

    Thank you for info.
Pioneer CA3001 is fine, but my friend "Eschi" (meanwhile he logged in) needs also the other cable.
    Please help!

The number for the upper cable is PIONEER CA3009 (with Cruise). It's a 41" long speedometer cable.

Tip: Tie a heavy wire on it (a clothes hanger will work) when you pull the old one out so you can use the wire to pull the new one through the firewall and keep the same routing.

    Good Luck!
