Thank you so much Cadillac_al . I've always loved the 2nd Gens, the more time goes by better they look.

So true about the column shift, I've only seen a handful. It is a console-less car.

    Thank you for the compliments.

Thank you. It's the "original" Code026 Bright Blue Metallic, also called Muslanne Blue. Although I knew the code and it was an original color, it was a pain to get right.

There were many variations and all shot different. I tried about 10 #026 formulas. Finally found the right one from an old DuPont book. If you need a picture of the formula, let me know.

I also tried Le Mans blue. Next to each other they are quite different.

    Thank you.

No, not at all. I wish I had the skills ! No it was at a shop, but I supplied th paint to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. They simply would spray test pieces for me. We went through many.....

I used Headman headers. They run to an all new Magnaflow 2.5" X pipe system, which runs into dual mufflers.

The only thing I will be changing eventually are the tail pipes, I would like the look of an OEM tail pipe, which was angle cut at the end. I don't want to use angle cut tips.

That would be great. We want to paint our 79 blue and afraid we won't get a good color. It has a light blue interior. The car is currently white and we just want a nice sharp blue. This one caught my eye.
