so frustrated fuel pressure

    I can turn my regulator all the way in and 18psi all the way out 14 psi?????? tried 2 guages, black smoke at idle is killing me. Holley 4.5-9 psi regulator and Elec. Carter Black fuel pump everything is fairly new.

    Boy, you keep having my luck with fuel issues.
    That's why I keep 2 extra regulators in the trailer.

    Are you running a return line or dead headed

    dead headed, just installed my buddies regulator and I have it down to 8 psi, I threw my bias plys on I'll give it a shot tomorrow! lol

    I haven't had much luck with a 14lb electric pump and those small Holley regulators. I bought an Edelbrock that seems to work well.

    Good to hear. Maybe when everything else is done, think about adding an air bleed system to help control heat & creep.

    they are having a street outlaw race at fayetteville tonite so I'm gonna wait til tomorrow and hit rockingham
