    Hi,

I'm looking into buying power window doors for my 1978 z28, that was originally manual window.

Is the door window glass the same for power window and manual on a 1978 Camaro? Want to know if I can use my existing windows.

Is there anything else I should take into consideration?

Been searching the internet without success.

    Thanks

    Oskar

    Welcome to NastyZ!

The only difference in mounting for 2nd gen Camaro door glass is the one-year '70 glass which has an extra mounting hole (or two)for the regulator bracket.
Power windows were not an option for '70 so I don't think that really matters.

You will need the harness, switches and the boots for the wiring into the door.
The door panels are the same but there are plugs to fill the hole left by the removal of the crank handles.
The console also has cutouts for the switches.

You might want to consider adding relays to the power window system.
(Search the "electrical" section for tips on that.)
