Where is the rust? Sandblasting is best, but rest encapsulation is a cheaper quicker alternative. I would reccomend POR over Eastwood, but prep is so important and kind Of a PIA process

    hmmm

Here's the deal with POR15, it does not really like bare metal. I have sand blasted and cleaned parts, used POR15 and several months later he POR is peeling off.
Also POR 15 does not play well with other top coats. I did my control arms in POR and later I was doing a touch up on the frame with a different product and everywhere it contacted the POR the finish wrinkled.

    Eastwood...don't know nothin about it.

    I would recommend Zero Rust.

Paint over rust products just make a rusty mess look good for a while and are just marketing gimmick.

Strip to bare metal then paint with correct bare metal primer.
