I put an L-88 hood on my 73 Z-28 and had the same problem with my hood, try raising the front of the hinges on the fender area and see if that doesent take care of it for you. worked for me.

    Thanks,

I was amazed how high I could get it with small changes to the hinges but could only make it higher by adjusting the front or back. I am going to give it another shot this fall at adjusting the height.

Currently I am driving it every chance I get just the way it is. I think the wife would shoot me if I spend any more wrench time thats not absolutly needed.

We are on 4th tank of gas and need to fill up next time out, So I am enjoying it.

Good for you, I just recently put mine on the road and have put 8 thousand miles on it. Its got an Ls1 with a six speed, they are a blast.
