I'm pretty sure the two are keyed alike in 70. (Door and ignition)
Someone else more familiar with the early 2nd gens will need to confirm.

Getting the door lock cylinder out is pretty easy, it just takes some creativity in tool fabrication and usage.
Getting it reassembled (with the window and door panel in place) IS kind of tricky but I've done it before. ;)

Call a lock smith and talk to them.
The service call is probably worth the money if you can avoid tearing into your door or steering column.

    Never did find keys...............................

I've "lost" the keys to my Red 70 SS/RS. Is it better easier to remove the column cylinder
and take to lock shop...............OR is better to remove the Door Lock......

Does Door Lock have a stamped code.....OR how does lock shop make a replacement

Glove box door is NOT locked, so can that lock be removed and Code found ???

I had a terrible time figuring mine out . I spent hours on different occasions trying to get it out. Finally I accidentally got it. Maybe this will save you some hassle. After the flashing was broken out my little part to push on was not directly behind it. It was off to one side or the other I don’t remember. Anyway start watching this at 3 minuets that should help.
Also the switch needs to be either on or off don’t remember that either it has been years. You will have to try both.
