I have a 1977 Z-28 I’ve owned since 1985. As seen in the photo of the car with my brother in 1983 who was the owner before he gave me the car in 85. While he was in Yuma, AZ the motor popped. He contacted me and said if I wanted it, I could come get it. I departed OKC the following Friday after work at 5pm, drove straight threw to Yuma, hooked up, and drove back nonstop. I was tired, but had me another Z-28 Following that, I moved to Texas in late 85, and then got the car back on the road with red paint, and a upgraded 1966 427 mounted to a TCI manual T-400 trans. I added a 12 bolt posi turning a set of 4:56s. ran great, but in 95 I pulled the motor and trans, and it has sat untouched until now. At some level I plan to put it back in service as a Hi-Performance street driver/cruiser. Any recommendations about reso parts is needed. For those hard core original guys out there, I kept and after 32 years, I still have the original components removed just in case.
