I had my car on a road course and the drag strip, no complaints at all in the breaking department.

Does anyone have a picture of the pedals? I believe all of mine only had one hole for the rod.

So, now how do you find a disc/disc pedal! Will anyone even know what they have!?

Mike- you're worried about pedal travel to get braking force? It almost seems like a manufacturer choice thing- almost all my GM stuff has always had that sort of pedal feel, as do my in-laws Toyota stuff. My Honda/Acura stuff has always had a pedal feel I prefer- tighter/more linear without being touchy.
The exception was my '81 Z with the aluminum master cylinder had better pedal feel than my '80 (which still has disc/drum with 1LE up front).

I recall reading about "quick uptake" master cylinders back in the day, I wonder if that would change anything? Perhaps the one you have already is??
I could be full of sh.. on all of this, of course.:) Limited sample size and all that...

    Todd,

I still need to call Baer. It could be that my brakes are behaving normally. Probably will call after the new year.

The 81 master is a step bore/quick takeup.

I wish I knew what you guys are seeing or feeling. Stock camaro pedal 3x and have no clue what issues you are all seeing. My brakes feel and operate with no strange things. I would suggest to the swapper is use an adjustable prop valve and New or Reman booster and MC. Not 45 year old stuff that like has leaks and wear. I again will would suspect the issues are faulty parts and air in the system. Not the pedal.

Check your axle flange, should be the same pattern, what I'm not sure about is axle flange offset, might have to shim the caliper mount, from what I'm reading that's not unusual.
