My 1978 Z28 has a factory pulse wire system but a non-pulse switch. It has a jumble of mangled wires from a previous owner. Can I run the wipers with the non-pulse switch or do I need to change out the motor (and the washer pump too I guess)? I bought it as a half running car so some things I have never tested out. Thanks for your help!

Change the switch, it'll be cheaper than replacing the motor/piump.

Where is a good place to find a switch? Used on eBAY?

    Thanks for the replay.

I would look at the usual suspects, Classic Industries, Camaro Central, NPD, SS396, Year One, F-body, and so forth. If anyone repops those switches, one or more of those places will have it.

I'm under the impression they don't repro this switch.

This is the switch I have. It's the standard 2 speed switch. MI need the two speeds plus the interment speed adjustment. Thanks though.
