I have a 1972 camaro. I live in Washington state on the west side of the rocky mountains. We get quite a bit of rain here. I have been doing some reading on converting to a pulse wiper/hidden wiper system. From what I have read I need a pulse/hidden wiper switch from a 1977-78 camaro. However that switch will not fit the gauge bezel that I have. I need one from a 1977-78 camaro for the larger wiper switch hole. This switch seems to be hard to find. I cannot find a part number for it. I have found pictures of it and know what it looks like but cannot find any aftermarket company producing it. If I have a part number I might be have better luck finding one used. I have the hidden wiper arms and linkage. The only other thing I need is the adapter plate for the hidden wiper motor. The linkage I got was from a 1978 camaro and it has the altered firewall and does not have the adapter bracket like the earlier cars. I cannot find anyone reproducing the adapter plate for the hidden wiper motor either. Does anyone have a part number on this plate or know where I can get one?

1975+ switch WILL NOT fit in a pre-1975 instrument bezel due to the size of the wiper switch opening

I found a part number for the wiper switch this is the 1977-78 delay wiper switch for hidden wipers that will only fit a 1976-78 camaro dash bezel. Might help in locating a used one at some point.

I don't have the one from my 77 nearby but I'm pretty sure that's the same.

Do you know what model van it came from?

Its for any 1977 Chevy/GMC conversion van. It was a pretty rare option for them too.

If you think it'll work for you Scott $150 and its yours. I've used a few of them to convert 1970-72 Montes over to delay/pulse.
