You could always install those G-braces. I'm still waiting on mine......it's been a month since I ordered them. If you ordered them right now, they would show up in time for a late winter project. :p

Yup, beautiful place for a car show! Sadly, the 72 only made it 2/3 of the way home but I won't waste Scotty's thread with that stuff. lol

Here I go again - it's NEVER EVER done!!

I have listened to George (Orange71) rave about his awesome carburetor from Patrick James, of Pro Systems Racing Carburetors http://www.prosystemsracing.com/index1.html for some time now.

I was not getting great performance from my "out of the box" Holley Street Avenger even after much tuning, so I decided to give Patrick a call. I sent him all of the specs for my engine, car and driving habits and bought one of his custom built, wet flowed carbs. It's based off the Holley 4150 double pumper.

Because of the larger accelerator pump arm used, I also needed to add a different throttle return spring bracket which also include the throttle cable mount. I went with an Allstar Performance piece.

    4150 HP main body
    Adjustable (changeable) air bleeds
Black Anodized Throttle Blades and Billet Base Plate
    Clear sight glass
    Stainless plate screws
    Custom sized needle and seats
    Electronically wet-flow calibrated
Custom street use - fuel curve
    Live-engine tested
    Techline access
Wet-flow dyno sheet for easy jet selection

I haven't gotten a change to really drive it yet, just a run around the block, but I can say this thing has INSTANT response. ;)

Now that I've seen the pics...LOL! I tried one of those throttle brackets and it didn't work with my drop base air filter so I went back with what I had.

Anyway, looks great!! Once you get it all dialed in you'll be more impressed with the performance gain over how damned good it looks!!
