Power for electric fuel pump

    I think I am going to add to oil pressure relay as a safety measure. I didn't realize that a electric pump was as noisy as it is. I have some sound deadener left over, so I think I will wrap it in some to quiet it down. I did fire up the motor but I had to poor gas in the carb to get it to start and it was running rough. I think the carb needs some work.

    I would rather have a big red pro-lite so your car doesn't just die causing an accident.

    I went with gerotor style, pretty quiet. Vane style are very loud. Put a relay on it, locate the relay by the pump. I also made a bracket to mount the pump on

    that NOISE... is why we all run "in-Tank" pumps.... cause the old frame mount stuff sux....loud.
    Only way I've come CLOSE to making it tolerable was by using

    Sometimes I like to think big ole loud external fuel pumps is like having a gear drive whine....it all screams "hey look at me..." but the novelty of it quickly wears off with the constant noise of it lol
