Poll on Your Camaro's Gas Mileage ?

    On the last long trip I did with my 350/350 to Atlanta. I averaged about 15.5 on the highway doing about 65-70mph. I am hoping to get MUCH better with the LT1/6sp swap. (20+?) That is, as soon as I get it all worked out. :)

    I've run mine for less than 45 minutes and burned over 5 gallon.

    My 530+hp BB with TH350 and 4.10's gets 9 mpg.

    I'm getting about 6 to 7 miles to the gallon.Depending on if I ain't laying into it.That's in the city it don't see the highway with 4:10 gears.

    Word.
    I just keep dumping in 110 racegas and figure life's good.:)
    If I had to guess I'd say on average about 4-5mpg...

    Same here- Put gas in, drive fast... Repeat as necessary

    79', RPM intake & cam, unknown cast cyl. heads, Stock HEI, headers, 2.5" exhaust with cheap turbo mufflers, M22, 3.73 rear, N50-15's, 13.8mpg. Just driving around the country side not beating on it. We have since put 3"/super 44 exhaust and had to go up 2 jet sizes in the 650 double pump Holey, so I'm sure it is worse now. It made crazy low end tq with the small exhaust.
