The connector is 2 prong female with a jumper (also green) on the rear of connector.
Looks like this (Thanks COPO)
Does anybody know the AC Delco equivalent number ?
Not sure if this helps, in my notes I have 6489600 superseding to 25036520 (Delco G1865).
My original harness wire was a single terminal green wire. I believe all the part numbers for 71 eventually change over to the 2 terminal design.
From 1971 assembly manual
Thank you for the pic. I believe I have several of that style connector attached to some old Corvette and Pontiac harnesses that I have stashed away in my workshop.
So, it looks like I have all the components for the system-
Firewall Relay - GM original
Intake Manifold Solenoid - GM original
2 Prong Temperature Sending Unit - Borg-Warner replacement
Transmission Switch - GM original
I also have the guide that states how to check it out -
Don't forget the clip to hold the green wire. If you need one, let me know
Thanks Bud. I have one already.
