    I'm not familiar with your garage setup, such as what is that pole supporting?

    But you can place the load else where but you will have 2 poles against the wall instead of the middle.

    I'm assuming you don't want to redo the roof?

    I'll make you feel better. I've got TWO poles down the center in my 22x26 garage, plus the ceiling is less than 8' high. Although it does have a good loft (attic type stairs, almost 6' at center to nothing on edges), that's where the camaro front metal, interior, trim, patch panels, etc are sitting.

    I've got enough stuff crammed in the main floor that I haven't been able to move my car for almost 2 years because I don't want to move all the other junk to get to it and my wifes car is outside more than not :mad:
