I'm new to the forums. Just bought a '70 Z28 at an auction. Looking forward to lots of good advice, 'cause I know I have a lot to learn. First up, I need to insure it. My agent provided me with quotes from Hagerty ($429) and American Modern ($263), both based on $45K value. This is a significant difference. Hagerty is the known quantity, but does anyone have experience with A.M.? Suggestions for other companies? Thanks!

What you really have to look at is the restrictions (if they have them) and see if they suit you. I have American Collectors, but they require locked indoor storage. Some have mileage restrictions, the more miles you want, the more the price goes up. A.C won't take my truck, because of the spray. I think my Camaro is around $234 per year full coverage, somewhere around there. The coverage goes up every year.
