Well I think the price is out of reach for us in Canada. Our dollar keeps dropping.
    $1.00 CAD = 0.7724 USD

Therefore at the price mentioned above of $1260.00 USD (1,631.32 CAD) + shipping + duty + taxes = $ LOTS

    On Coker's website: $323 x 4 + 100 = $1392.00 USD (1,802.22 CAD) + shipping + duty + taxes = $ LOTS

    For me to buy BFG T/A's 235-60-15 here: $156.99 x 4 + 13% tax = $710.00 CAD

Here’s the bad news from the distributor in Ont.

    Re $464/tire CAD ($359 USD)

No, unfortunately this price of $464 is just for the tire. Taxes and installation are extra. To have them installed the total with tax is $2187.68 CAD for 4 tires. ($1692.39 USD)

    I’m out.

Mark, like you, I've been checking these tires out. The cheapest way to get them if you are in Canada is from Summit, free shipping to a US border town, pick them up there, pay the tax, bring them across & have them mounted.
In my case, for four FR70/14 it works out to be total of approx $1435 CDN installed. Four 235/60R14 TAs would be approx. $750 installed.
    I'm out too!

Sonny called Vintage Tire in Surrey BC and they quoted him $458 with taxes + $100 to install/balance. That's just crazy, all because of our focked up dollar.

Really encourages you to go out and "light 'em up".

That is a lot of money for these tires! Best bet would be like Dale mentioned above.

If you don't care about keeping your old tires then... Order from Summit and have them delivered to a border town. Drive your car across the border and find a shop in US to Install them. Then drive your car back across the border and skip the tax!

Best price so far for the BFG Radial T/A 235-60-15 is $616 CAD ($479 USD) including taxes and a $50 mail in rebate
which I'll mail out. It's for the R&R and balance without taking the car there.
