I recently purchased a Munci Trans 3925661 P3R12A. It has fine splines on the front with 26 teeth, supposedly out of a 73 Corvette. The original drive shaft is smaller then output shaft on the Munci. I know I need a yolk but from what to make the original drive shaft work?

Count the splines. A yoke from the 71 and later Muncies will fit. I believe the later Borg Warner 4 speeds also used a similar yoke, and likely also the TH400 automatics. When you find a yoke, you need to check it for correct length, and also that it takes the same U joint.
