What in the world might this little button have done in it's day? It's located under the dash above the clutch. It's not connected to anything at this time, but you can see the switch and the back where wires were connected.

Absolutely no telling what that switch was hooked to.

Nothing that was stock. Does it click when you press it? Maybe a Kill switch to prevent theft or for turning on accessories like fog lights or whatever.

I pushed it in and it stuck in. Not sure if it clicked. I wondered if it was something that at one time juiced up the motor with high octane stuff. I was hoping not and if it controlled some past electric device, no worries.

Just mount an extra horn under the dash near the switch. Then, label it the "Panic Button". Unsuspecting passengers will appreciate that when you push it.

Had one like it for a fuel pump on mine. I've also seen it for the reverse lights when headers were installed and the backdrive linkage was removed.

Good answer. Or passenger ejection. Like when someone farts and rolls up the window.

Mount a horn for an import car under your back bumper. Hook it to the switch if it's a momentary switch. I did that in high school A jerk I went to school with was behind and and traffic was moving slow. When a cop was by my front fender, I started honking the rear horn. Obviously it wasn't MY horn so he went back and read the jerk the riot act for blowing his horn too much. i pulled away to see them in my mirrors and the jerk was being told to get out of the car. Ah, memories.
