My powder coat oven build

    I kind of winged it on the window frame lol
    Just framed it out with left over stud pieces. Maybe I didn't seal the glass good enough, who knows but after a year of coating ya can't even see thru the glass anymore. If I was to build another oven I would not put in a window. I think they are over rated.

    Guy what happened to it? Burned-on powder dust or carbon or what? Just curious what made it useless over time.

    Not sure Beau. I just hit the outside with some 0000 steel wool and it looks like new. Got parts in there now, after they are done I will hit the inside and see what happens.

    Maybe just needed to be cleaned lol

    Ya think lol ;)

    I just figured(assumed)it was from the heat. I am glad you asked though, that made me try n clean it lol

    Glad u appreciate ur window again!!!! I will see what I can come up with for the window. Happy to say that I just got the control box, burns, door seal, door locks, window glass, and thermocouple today. Hopefully will b finished up in a week or so depending on how fast I can buy the sheet metal

    Door gap

    Hey bro, hope all is well. Oven is done for the most part just have to attach the door and wheels n ill b coating in no time. Just wanted to know what u did to fill the gap that the door seal creates between the door and the frame. Thanks will post pics of the whole project when it's completed. (Although they look similar to urs lol :))
