OK guys I know it's been a few weeks but I promise I have been making progress. I ll post pics soon, but for now I have a few questions.

I picked up a hoist and a stand for the motor but I do not know what size bolts to use to mount the stock 350 to the stand with.

Second I pulled the interior (found some rust not sure how bad yet) but the carpet padding is glued to the floor. How do I remove it?

Last, (for now) I have an electric random orbital sander can I use this to remove paint or do I need to purchase a Pneumatic orbital sander?

    Thanks,
    Vic

Also started to swap out the old 350 and 4 speed with a new (to me) LT1 and 6 speed T56.

I have been here still lurking in other threads trying to figure out how to put this thing in and make it work.

I will start updating this thread again starting today!

Get the LT1 in, is going to be easy. Getting it run will be a whole other story. Join us over in the high tech retrofits and starting reading.

I talked to Sanderson and they are willing to swap out the Headers for me.

Great customer service. They were purchased years ago but are still BNIB.

She's running! Still have a bit to do to get her rolling but its getting closer.

I have to shorten or buy a new driveline, and figure out which exhaust system I want to run.

I love the look of the dual muffler setup but like the ground clearance of the stock single location. Any opinions on this? Borla?
