No lift motorsports has a special going until new years: LQ4 with stage 1-4 cam installed 2600 shipped. SO I had them also put the oil pan for the 2nd gen Camaro on it for another $250. Then I bit the bullet and said if they are putting a cam and dual valve springs on it, might as well do a full reseal of the motor with Ls7 lifters and ls9 head gaskets. I figured screw it, I will get the 4L60e with an upgraded corvette servo to solve the 1st to 2nd gear issue and added a monster torque converter 2300-2500 stall. all out the door, shipped to a local terminal it's $4480. I could not resist. it comes with stand-alone wiring harness and a programmed computer. all in all, not a bad deal. I am debating yanking the heads off immediately and having them ported by a local shop here and replacing the manifold with a Fast LSX-RT and 102mm TB. thats about 2k. I do want to stay with the 243 heads.. no need to go rectangular ports unless I plan on spending a lot of time above 6k RPMs... and I dont.
