Well it has begun. Little quick background on this little gem. This was my uncles Camaro. He is the original owner. So when I turned 16 in 1987 he gave me the vehicle and of course I didnt know what I had which shows in the color change. I had it for 2 years and I decided to join the Army and I gave it back to him in 89. Well he drove it for two years and left it in the garage since then. Fast Fwrd to 2017 I asked him if I can have it back and he said yes. I explained to him that I am going to restore it and make it a demon again.... The plan is to restore the engine but add power through other means. The trans will be redone as well. So if anybody have any suggestions feel free to drop a note.

Nice history on your car, and thanks for your service! I just picked up a 71 RS and just ripped the engine and trans out this weekend. I'm doing a partial resto to make it a fun driver. Your interior was way nicer than mine!

I'm going with a 5.3 with a turbo. My car only had a 307 from the factory so originality is not a real concern for me. Plus I've been wanting a turbo ls project of my own for a while so u decided to scratch that itch. Haha

awesome car... I had almost no interior in my 71 when I got it. good luck and have fun.

I just ordered my 6.0l with 4L60E and upgrades in both engine and tranny.
