Mothers Powerball headlight restorer...

    Didnt know that's why they did that...hmmm. I can say from experience that yes it does come back fast...I usually go through the wet sanding/buffing course but I never put any sealant or protector on and sure as hell they became hazy agin in a few months.

    I've noticed on our 2000 Jeep Grand cherokee, there seems to be a coat of super hard protective plastic on the surface that has decomposed. There are still patches of it on there.

    ^Those friggin Grand Cherokee lights are all like that. I've had to do the headlights on our 01 a few times already. They stay good for a few months then turn milky white afterwards.

    Seems to last at least the time between oil changes that I do, that's every
    4 months or so.

    My step dad did his with meguires and it worked wonders. He used a buff wheel also. Could not believe the difference it made.

    Be advised, people don't realize AFTER this you need a UV protectant to make it last.

    Opti-Coat 2.0 is a permanent solution.
