Anyone know any tips or tricks to keeps these little discs from flying off the arbor and rolling to unknown parts of the garage when you lift and stop grinding with them?

Buy good ones and keep them within rated rpm. I only use them on a electric 4 1/2 angle grinder and don't have problems.

Never had any problem with that. In fact, they are sometimes hard to get off the arbor...

indeed the hf arbor the center is not supposed to stick out its supposed to be flush with the rubber so the rubber pushes on the disk to keep pressure on it.

Yeah, I figured that might be the problem. Might try and see if I can find some little rubber spacer to use until I can get a new one. The threads weren't right on this one anyway.

I bought a couple of arbors and some more flap discs from LeHigh Valley and there is definitely a difference. These should work much better. I'll let you know when I get around to using them.
