We need those engine pics, or chassis I'm not picky.
Is that "shiny" epoxy primer SPI brand ???
Is that right out of the can or blended with Black to replicate Norwood ???
Chuck, I don't know what that red primer is. The guy that help me put the quarters on mixed that up and sprayed it on,it is not out of a can.
Jim, Doesnt really matter in areas that dont show....just thought youd want to use
the SPI formula that Steve Nuwer came up with to replicate the 1970 Norwood Red Oxide,
but now I'm thinking youre 73 Camaro Red Oxide is slightly different....Most people
will never know the difference....
I'm a BIG backer of some of the SPI products. Top Quality LOW price !!!!
Agreed! I am going to use a different product for the bottom and inside of the car. I will post the results when it is sprayed.
I have some pictures of different parts, not sure if I will post pictures of individual parts or of the parts installed. Let me know what you prefer. Here is the fan spacer I cleaned up today. Glass beaded then shot peened,no paint.
Post a couple pics of your shot peening machine.....and curious what size shot your using
vs our "friend" in Kent,WA
Do you limit the time in machine on aluminum vs stamped steel parts, vs cast iron parts
Your glass beading machine is the style where you have your hands in gloves looking
thru window ???? Recycled Crushed Glass or ?? Media
We have 4 different bead blast machines and the steel shot machine. Our newest cabinet is the Zero and it is bad ass. We run the parts through the shot peen for about 5 minutes, steel or aluminum
