The biggest issue I had was the adapter sleeve that I had made to build the OD of the throwout tube to match std 4 speed diameter. The pull clutch setup used a smaller tube which was too sloppy with the 4 speed T/O bearing. The sleeve I had made wasn't hardened and it wore quickly. I'd either do a hardened sleeve or better find a push T/O bearing with the appropriate ID. Shifter position wasn't an issue because it was an automatic car and I just cut a hole. The stick came up thru the factory console.
