How are you solving the tail shaft/output shaft, yolk issue? Custom driveshaft?

Because its not cost effective. You can buy a brand new T56 Magnum cheaper then buying a used TR6060 and then convert it. Granted a few people would do it, but the masses to keep a product on the shelf and be profitable is null. All the foot traffic here and I have only seen a couple TR6060 builds and tons of people running the Magnum

I wouldn't even consider converting it. Wether you go with a Magnum or a TR6060 you will need the driveshaft modified. You can buy an awesome aluminium driveshaft with CV joint the will bolt right up for $800 from The Driveshaft Shop, or go with and adapter flange like the one listed above. But converting the trans wouldn't be worth it.

That’s still 3x the cost of a normal driveshaft. You would have to get a great deal on a tr6060 to make It worth it. Plus willing to fab your own shifter

I got the tr6060 essentially for free with my LSA sooo don’t mind spending $1000 on a driveshaft if that’s all I need to do lol

^^youre the exception, not the norm. There’s always someone that gets a great deal on something or free.....who wouldn’t spend a little money to make something that was free work. In this case yes cheaper then a Magnum....that’s rare though...they are usually a couple grand min

Plus you don't need to buy a bell housing for the TR6060, which is another savings. I paid less than half the price of a Magnum for my 6060, and between the driveshaft and shifter (fabbed myself) I am at least $1000 less than the magnum would have cost. The TR6060 shifts so smooth and is nice and quiet.
