I did the auto to conversion from a TH350 to a Super T10 which couldn't hold my power to a TKO500. I probably would have saved money if I would have went direct to the TKO, I had to rebuild the Super T10 3x before I found the TKO.

Parts for the T10 and the TKO that are the same:
    1) Z-Bar setup for clutch
    2) Adjusting Pin for Z-Bar
    3) Springs for Z-Bar
    4) Clutch pedal
    5) Bellhousing (I used 621 at first)
    6) 168 tooth flywheel
    7) Ram clutch (nuked it on my first run, now using DFX from Centerforce)
    8) Bronze Pilot Bearing
    9) 4 Speed tunnel adapter (http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/Forum12/HTML/007398.html)

Now once this is all installed you can mate the trans to your car.

For the back half (Super T10):
    1) Turbo 400 yoke
    2) If you don't have a TH350 you need a TH350 crossmember

For the back half (TKO 500/600):
    1) TKO Yoke
    2) Shorten the drive shaft
    3) TKO crossmember (I got mine from SST former Keisler engineering).

There might be more but you get the drift. Also, as you can see there is not much more work for the 5speed vs the 4speed.

Yes, but my car already has the T-10, and i plan on mating it to a newer T-56 magnum, before any real mods go into the car, i don't plan on anymore then 300-350 hp before the conversion to the T-56, So when you mated the T-10 were you running an LS? if so do you happen to have the part numbers for the pilot bearing, clutch, and where you got the proper flywheel?

Sorry I am using a traditional small block ... also there are numerous threads on the T56 install ... you cannot use the manual clutch you will have to go hydraulic. From what my old brain can remember :)

Yes but being able to afford a nice one is a ways off, and yes you do need to go hydraulic,

    Thank you!

I am trying to do the same thing. I'm swapping a 5.3 but still reusing my t-10. Im trying to figure out what motor mounts I need to use. I have been looking at the Holley mounts, but don't know what depth I need, or if I should buy the mounts, or the plates. Help would be appreciated by the both of us I'm sure

You don't need to go hydraulic if you are using a SBC
